News Update … New class leading electronic design and manufacturing facility…

After a long search, Norcott is delighted to announce the acquisition of the building which will become its new electronic design and manufacturing centre.

The 18,000 sqft facility was originally built by Honeywell for the manufacture of specialist electronic components, and was constructed to a very high standard.

Norcott has been looking for the right sort of facility for the last couple of years and are absolutely delighted to have acquired such a high specification building.

Russ Magee (MD) commented…

“It was of critical importance that we found the sort of building that would enable Norcott to continue with its business development programme. We needed a facility that had the infrastructure to support more capital investment, such as a brand new high technology surface mount line and wave solder machine, but also provide us with the space to expand our electronic design team.

We also need more space to cope with the increasing demand from our customers for a full product build capability.

The new manufacturing centre will provide us with class leading facilities for surface mount, conventional assembly, full box build / rack systems and test”.

We are currently in the process of carrying out an extensive refurbishment programme, so will keep you posted with our progress over the next couple of months.
