Norcott Wins Manufacturing Excellence Award

As one of the UK’s leading electronic design and manufacturing specialists, we pride ourselves in developing and maintaining first-class manufacturing standards.  Now our achievements have been recognised at a gala evening for the Halton Business Awards with a prestigious award from Halton Chamber of Commerce.

The ‘Made in Halton’ accolade is awarded in recognition of ‘remarkable results in the manufacturing sector’.  It was a challenging award to win – judges were looking for the effectiveness of manufacturing techniques, the development of staff, the introduction of new products or capital investments – and we were short-listed against fantastic local businesses which we greatly admire.

Russ Magee, MD, said: “Manufacturing is a vibrant sector in the Halton area, with many world-class companies involved in this sector, so it was a challenging category to be short-listed for.

“However, we have always taken great pride in working at the forefront of our field and embracing opportunities to try new ways of working.  It’s our culture to seek excellence in every area of our business and the entire team is continually encouraged to put forward ideas to improve our systems and processes.
